Your years of precision machining skills along with your passion to mentor the junior machinists on the team will place you in the elite of the industry.
The prototypes created at this facility require a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask as programmer, setup and hands on machinist.
You will work closely with each member of the team to advance the production and quality of this facility, while keeping the team on track with production quotas and delivery to customers.

To be considered for this position you must be able to perform the following functions:
Program fabrication equipment from CAD files to produce prototype components utilizing CAM programs and on-machine capability
Procure and fabricate necessary tooling to fabricate and inspect prototype components
Procure the necessary raw materials
Operate the following equipment to fabricate and inspect prototype components:
CNC Milling (5-Axis)
Manual milling and lathes
Miscellaneous hand tools and inspection equipment
Familiarity with small parts with a lot of detail and using small end mills
Ensure compliance with relevant quality system requirements
Identify and coordinate outside suppliers for secondary operations on prototypes
Develop prototype quotations and estimates in response to project or customer request for quotes (RFQ’s).
Coordinate prototyping activities to establish and meet time schedules
Education, Experience and skills required:
High school diploma or technical school graduate.
15-20 years’ precision machining experience including programing and set up
CAM skills (MasterCam preferred)
Set up and operator skills for CNC milling (5-axis), lathes and EDM equipment
Knowledge of GD&T; complete knowledge of G codes.
Ability to read blue prints.

She brings her vast knowledge and expertise in procurement, supply chain, contract administration and project management to the firm. She is a creative and natural problem-solver with proven success in developing and implementing new procedures and processes as well as integrating newly acquired subsidiaries.
Now, she’s using her expertise to build a network of solid relationships in the medical device and precision machining industries that help hiring managers find the top talent they need to improve their organizations.
Paula is Lean Six Sigma certified (Green Belt), has a Master of Science in business management and a Bachelor of Science in education.
