Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer / Lean Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement, Orthopedics Medical Device – Southeast, USA

The Challenge: This highly strategic individual will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of all Six Sigma initiatives in Manufacturing, Engineering and New Product Launches for a dynamic and growing orthopedic medical device company. Experience, Education and Work History: Minimum of 3 years of overall experience working in Medical Device. Proven ability to drive Lean initiatives is required – green or black belt certification is required. Experience working within a CNC Manufacturing environment is required. A BS is required. Having PMP certification and a proven history of successfully managing multiple major project initiatives with budgetary responsibilities will differentiate good from great candidates.

The Position: You will drive Lean Initiatives to improve existing core manufacturing practices and identifying and developing new practices including expansion of their manufacturing operations. You will also develop best practices, SOP Standard Operating Procedures, and defining Standard Work Content while working with DFM Design for Manufacturing and New Product Development Implementation into Manufacturing. Developing a thorough understanding of ISO 13486 and FDA QSR guidelines is essential. This role must be able to influence, motivate and drive change with an infectious passion. We need a vocal leader here – a voice of reason – to influence a world-class team.
