Field Service Engineer, Medical CT/PT/Imaging – Middletown, CT (Also New Haven & Hartford)
Growing Medical Device Company is seeking a hands-on Sr. Field Service Engineer to oversee their Central USA territory, based out of the Chicago. IL area. This role will work remotely out of your home based office and offer the flexibility of few positions. The company will double their size over the next year as orders are surging due to differentiating technology, competitive pricing and a best-in-class customer focus. World-class training will be provided to ensure your technical expertise.
You will be responsible for key account customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge while providing specialized installations, repair service, preventative maintenance, training and on-going support at key hospitals throughout the region of medical imaging hardware with a software / server interface. Defines problems: Collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions. Has the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

Requirements for consideration:

  • Experience providing field engineering service support with medical equipment
    - ideally in Imaging / X-Ray / CT / PT or Lasers
  • Strong diagnostic trouble-shooting skills are essential for success in this role
  • Ability to work independently out of your home based office
  • Up to 30% overnight travel is required (during times of install at other locations)
