Director of Program Management – Medical Device – Boston, MA

Your Challenge:
You will have ownership overseeing the launch of their groundbreaking flagship product with P&L responsibilities. Interfacing cross functionally with New Product Development, Software Engineering, Design, Sales & Marketing, Medical Affairs, Quality & Regulatory Affairs – you will set the strategy, streamline and monitor the process flow and deliverables, engage vendors, expedite time to launch, and then oversee full life-cycle management of the product and lead all enhancements in it’s next generation evolution.

You will have pure oversight and Management of the product and will be responsible for the navigation of it’s success and clinical outcomes. Communication abilities are key – from the Board Room to on the floor. Technical aptitudes are essential – interfacing with Engineers, PhDs and Scientists on an hourly basis. This role demands someone that has worn a lot of hats and will thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial small team start-up environment.

 

Requirements include (you must have ALL for consideration):

  • MUST have a scientific educational background – a related Masters degree or PhD is preferred but not required
  • MUST have 5+ years of experience leading programs / projects in Medical Device or the Healthcare Software Field
  • IDEALLY will have experience in pediatric psychiatry or neurology
  • MUST have experience with full life-cycle management
  • MUST have the ability to travel up to 33% of the time

Paula Morisey
Research & Recruitment Specialist

Paula joined the Morisey-Dart Group in August of 2017. She is the firm’s research and recruitment specialist for the medical device and precision machining/manufacturing teams. She is responsible for sourcing and recruiting, lead generation, internet research and various other responsibilities within both the medical device and precision machining industries.

With 25 years at Xerox Corporation in New York, Paula had a prosperous and noteworthy career where she excelled during her tenure. She brings her vast knowledge and expertise in procurement, supply chain, contract administration and project management to the firm. She is a creative and natural problem-solver with proven success in developing and implementing new procedures and processes as well as integrating newly acquired subsidiaries.

Now, she’s using her expertise to build a network of solid relationships in the medical device and precision machining industries that help hiring managers find the top talent they need to improve their organizations.

Paula is Lean Six Sigma certified (Green Belt), has a Master of Science in business management and a Bachelor of Science in education.
