This Aerospace manufacturing facility specializing in precision-machined parts for the gas turbine aircraft engine and power generation industries is in search of the top talent

We have an opening for multiple 5-axis simultaneous CNC Programmers (not 3+2 or 5-axis positioning) and are seeking the right candidates to join our programming team. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in offline programming of air foil shapes on CNC Turn/Mill multi-axis machines using G- and M-codes on aerospace materials using Mastercam software. Knowledge of CNC Lathe turning experience (24"+ diameter) is a definite plus.

Responsibilities include: 1) Provide/create and maintain CNC programs and CNC setup sheets for all areas 2) Prove out at the machine with experienced operator 3) Utilize the CNC CAD software for generating CNC programs 4) Maintain network program files and setup sheets per established procedures 5) Participate on a machining methods team that focuses on reducing cycle time while improving cost and quality Qualifications include: 1) Experience programming CNC machine tools (5-axis required) 2) Proficiency in computer utilization including the use of MS Office, Windows and AutoCAD 3) Must have ability to read and understand blueprints including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing 4) Intermediate to advanced math and computer skills 5) Previous CNC machining experience is desired
