The Challenge: We need a high-volume Machining Guru who will establish the North American Machining and Assembly Strategy for the organization.  This dynamic leader will: evaluate USA/CAN machining footprint and capabilities, identify individual site best practices, and roll-out standardization of machining, equipment specifications and regulations.  Optimizing these efficiencies will have a wide impact including the reduction of cycle times, increasing uptime, direct labor, maintenance, CAPEX and energy expenditures.  Guiding the company to maintain its status as a technological and innovative machining leader is paramount. 

Having strong communication abilities to be able to bring together multiple sites, departments and levels of employees while being results oriented and self-driven is pivotal for this role. 

Location: Candidates could work from one of the following locations: Southfield, MI (ideally), Sheboygan, WI, Glasgow, KY, Dickson, TN or Sylacauga, AL

Compensation: Total package value will be in the $115,000 - $200,000+ range for the right individual (Base Salary and Bonus.) Also Benefits, Relocation Assistance and much more!


  • MUST have experience working within a high-volume CNC machining facility
  • MUST be able to provide innovative manufacturing solutions and improvements regarding all machining and assembly processes including but not limited to: Spindle management, CNC
    rebuild/refurb/upgrade, preventive maintenance on CNC (i.e. Spindle vibration analysis), Cutting Tool management, eliminate redundant gage/inspection and PLC programming optimization
  • MUST have documented experience driving cost savings initiatives within a CNC manufacturing environment
  • MUST have a stable work history with progressive advancement
